The Senior Project Planning & Control (PP&C) Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation and operation of the systems to plan and monitor performance of projects and ensure these systems are compliant with customer and company requirements.
You will join a local team and be backed with global expertise as well as a tailored professional development program to ensure you and your work are successful.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure that performance and finance reports generated are prepared in accordance with the reporting timetable and providing analysis and assessment of ongoing project performance.
Guide project managers and control account managers in planning, analysing, and assessing project cost and schedule performance.
Ensure integrity of data included in performance reports and estimates at completion.
Assist with promotion and demonstration of a continuous improvement model, values and approaches to business.
Understanding and knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems, project planning and scheduling, risk management and program management.
Ability to create and generate standard reports and metrics and interpret them across functional boundaries.
Demonstrates an intermediate level understanding of assumptions in an Estimates at completion and how it affects sales and earnings.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications: University Degree in Business, Accounting or Engineering, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated customer focus.
Able to communicate and work effectively across job functions and with external customers and vendors as required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to facilitate a decision-making process.
Successful candidates must be an Australian citizen and/or able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence security clearance.
