The Opportunity
The Infrastructure and Assets Project Delivery team developsexciting and creative projects to enhance liveability andsustainability; ensuring Perth remains a developing and innovativeCity.
As the Senior Project Officer, you will manage the delivery ofall capital works for the City and provide high quality projectmanagement support.
Reporting to the Principal Project Delivery, yourresponsibilities would primarily include:
Plan, progress and undertake the delivery of a range ofcapital projects in accordance with the City Project ManagementFramework.
Provide leadership and high-quality service, advice, andcommunications to internal and external stakeholders throughoutthe project
Prepare tenders, expressions of interest and formalquotation documentation in accordance with the City'sprocurement requirements.
Provide project management input to assist the ProjectEngineers / Managers to make decisions on project issues,planning delivery methods, budget forecasting and
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Recent project management experience in deliveringinfrastructure and building projects
Project Management theory, processes, principles, andtools
High level written and verbal communication skills
Tendering and contract management in a complexmulti-disciplinary environment
