Safer Care Victoria was established in January 2017 to ensure our health services are providing safe, high-quality care to patients: every time, everywhere. As well as monitoring the standards of care provided, Safer Care Victoria is partnering with patients, clinicians and health service managers to support the continuous improvement of health care.
About the role: The Senior Project Officer in the Response & Development team will support SCV to design and deliver evidence-based, best practice organisational development and change interventions (e.g., projects, sector and consumer consultations and partnerships) to respond to emerging system safety issues to prevent harm and ensure high-quality, reliable, and person-centred care.
The successful candidate will have expertise in organisational change and development and its application in the healthcare context. 
The Response & Development team in the Clinical Governance, Culture, & Capability Program is responsible for ensuring expert response to complex patient safety and clinical governance risks and issues, and leading organisational change and development interventions to reduce and prevent harm.

How you'll make a difference: Lead evidence-based, best practice organisational development and change interventions (e.g., projects, sector and consumer consultations and partnerships) to respond to emerging system safety issues to prevent harm and ensure high-quality, reliable, and person-centred care.
Strong critical analysis and reporting skills, high attention to detail, excellent writing skills and experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
Proven ability to manage projects, promote teamwork and contribute positively to a team environment.
Demonstrated experience with all aspects of project coordination.
Demonstrate high level of awareness of own strengths and areas needing development.
Highly developed skills in planning and managing risks and ensures the use of honest, transparent and appropriate purchasing processes.Ability to prepare complex briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language and ensures that appropriate style and formats are used.
