This is an opportunity to work in a small project team to deliver Phase 2 of the significant, high profile Raine Island Recovery Project. The project is governed by a Reference Group, Scientific Advisory Group and Indigenous Land Use Agreement Working Group. This position will have responsibility for coordinating, planning and delivery of Phase 2 of the Project including developing works programs to ensure the long-term protection of the natural and cultural values of Raine Island through implementing adaptive management actions to address issues affecting the island's viability as a turtle and seabird rookery.
This position is located flexibly within Great Barrier Reef and Marine Parks region: Cairns, Townsville, Airlie Beach or Gladstone, but may require travel to other locations from time to time, including overnight stays.
To be considered you must:
