The role:Reporting to the Principal Project Officer, you will lead the Program Support team to ensure tight deadlines for competing priorities are met with accuracy, ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced service delivery. You will also maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communications and foster relationships through feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.In addition to this, you will:Manage a small team to provide Program Support activities to a large multi-disciplinary team and develop and implement consistent processes across the program.Provide financial support to the program by undertaking activities associated with Cost Recovery of Fee for Service (FFS) initiatives, budgeting, finance, and reporting.Manage and monitor resources, expenses, and capital costs against the project forecasts.Maintain program/project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies.Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.Is this the opportunity for you?To be successful in the role, you will have proven experience in a medium scale IM/ICT project management environment, preferably in the health care industry (SFIA Skill: PRMG: Level 5). You will also have the proven ability to develop and manage one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups, and facilitate the business change decision-making processes, and the planning and implementation of change.
