Senior Project Officer

Eden Ritchie is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support Queensland's renewable energy transformation by providing project and research support to the Office of the Queensland Renewable Energy Jobs Advocate.
• Duration: 12 months • Location: Brisbane CBD and work from home • Hourly Rate: $75.75 per hour Role Overview: As a Senior Project Officer , you will support the Queensland Renewable Energy Jobs Advocate in advancing renewable energy employment and development initiatives.
This position requires a proactive individual capable of providing high-quality project support, policy advice, and administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the Office of the Advocate through project work, stakeholder management, and high-quality administration practices.
Policy Advisory & Research: Conduct research and provide policy advice, analyzing renewable energy, workforce trends, and emerging industry policies.
Communication: Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials to support the Advocate's work program and engage key audiences.
Project & Time Management: Manage multiple tasks and projects within tight timeframes, handling responsibilities both independently and as part of a team.
Administrative Support: Coordinate meetings, monitor the Advocate's diary, manage records, and support budget management as needed.
Qualifications & Desired Skills: High organizational abilities with a capacity to operate in a dynamic environment.
Previous experience in a similar role Demonstrated policy and research skills, especially in technical or energy-related fields.
