Location Full job description As Senior Project Officer your key responsibilities include: - Lead and manage the delivery of digital products and projects, to achieve agreed objectives in a timely and efficient manner.- Establish and support product roadmaps, to ensure lifecycle decisions are made appropriately.- Establish agreed plans and schedules for internal and external project activities, to facilitate continuous improvement.- Monitor, manage and control product operational activities in accordance with agreed plans, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken to deliver agreed performance standards.- Identify and evaluate risk and manage through appropriate mitigation strategies, to achieve acceptable risk exposure.- Prepare relevant product documentation to a high standard, to ensure appropriate communication of product processes, features and self-service capability building.- Prepare and deliver a range of communications to stakeholders, team members and governance bodies, to ensure that others are fully briefed on product development objectives, tasks, and progress.- Apply and provide feedback on product management methodologies, to ensure a consistent approach to product delivery and continuous improvement using a variety of tools and techniques.- Contribute to the development of service delivery agreements between client agencies, to establish the ongoing operational arrangements for integrated services.- Manage assigned budgets, to achieve business objectives.- Track the use of team resources and product roadmap progress against budget and escalate any deviations from this budget to the relevant Portfolio Manager and Governance Board.- Manage supplier arrangements and outputs, to ensure delivery against agreed specifications and standards.- Influence and negotiate with clients, to gain agreement of product management deliverables.- Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure ongoing success.- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery to agreed specifications and standards.- Contribute to a learning environment by proactively suggesting ideas for continuous improvement, with the aim of achieving best practice.
