As a Senior Project Manager in the Vocational Learning team, you will lead key projects under the Government's "Job Ready Generation of Young Tasmanians" initiative, significantly increasing VET participation by 2030.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and implementation of programs that prepare students for high-demand industries, equipping them with the skills needed for future careers. Oversee strategic initiatives that improve access to vocational education, supporting schools, industry, communities and students to continue to outcomes that affect them. We're seeking an experienced project manager, with robust stakeholder consultation skills, who can bring a positive and outcomes focused attitude to our existing high performance team culture.
Duties To provide high quality program and project management, analysis and advice that supports effective decision making, informed by relevant legislation, departmental and whole-of-government directions, national initiatives and priorities.
Period of Appointment ASAP for 12 months
Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnight
