About the role This position plays a vital role in the City's success by offering technical and project management assistance to the Program Leader of Stormwater Assets. It involves overseeing the city's stormwater assets, capital works, and maintenance programs.

Role accountabilities include:

Collaborate with the assets team to create long-term capital works programs for stormwater and urban waterway infrastructure. Assist the Program Leader of Stormwater Assets in maintaining the City of Hobart's stormwater assets, including the pit and pipe network. Develop and oversee asset maintenance programs, focusing on water-sensitive urban design and water quality improvement assets. Manage consultants and contractors effectively. About you The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or environmental) or a related field, or have equivalent project management experience in the civil or plumbing sectors.
