About the company Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Senior Project Manager. This position is located in their busy Sydney NSW office for an initial contract until the 30/06/2025. About the Position The role provides high-level professional guidance for the delivery of projects. It undertakes and drives project assessments, delivery processes, and operations across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements and working within a project management framework to ensure projects are delivered to best practice standards, are commercially sound, and meet the needs of key stakeholders.
Duties Lead the development of project proposals and concept designs to deliver outcomes that meet strategic and operational needs and production of suitable design and specification documents to support planning approval, cost planning, contract preparation, and any applicable processes.Manage and deliver on each key project phase to the agreed standards, on time and within allocated budgets.Ensure that projects are compliant with the relevant approvals and with any applicable legislation and policy requirements.Oversee all contract documents to ensure appropriate outcomes and to meet relevant requirements and specifications (and related documents) and manage the coordination of contracted work to enable the best use of Transport for NSW resources and contracted resources.Work within the project management framework and implement and use the range of project tools available to manage contracts and specifications and provide specific advice.Prepare sound budgets for projects, by ensuring that processes are followed and monitor financial aspects of projects to ensure that they are developed and delivered within agreed budgets.Analyse project completion performance and feedback information for use in continuous improvement of project planning, development, management, and delivery.Role model, promote, and actively demonstrate the five ways of leading behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people, and communities for the Greater Good.Requirements/Skills Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.Demonstrated experience working at a senior or executive level in a complex organisation, delivering specialist and authoritative advice to executive leadership.Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities, including the ability to strategically lead, influence, promote, and motivate highly skilled technical staff to deliver desired outcomes.Benefits working with Karlka Recruiting Group Weekly payOngoing support: Pre, during and post placementDedicated consultant per contractEmployee Assistance Program availableOur agency supports Indigenous communities How to Apply Apply now to be considered for submission to our client by 13/12/2024
