Your Next Role: As the Senior Project Manager, you will be leading a team of engineers and designers to deliver civil infrastructure projects, and you will provide technical guidance and support for small and large projects.
Key Responsibilities: Planning, scheduling and liaising with site personnel to deliver performance outcomes of day-to-day activities to meet project milestones.
Prepare project specific documentation including technical, safety, environmental and quality deliverables.
Ensure all project QA documents are site specific, relevant and implemented to an acceptable standard.
Project administration as reasonably required i.e.
preparation / review of timesheets, project reports etc.
Effectively track, manage and forecast project budget and profit margins.
Proactively inspect project activities to monitor progress and ensure conformance to specifications, drawings and standards.
Provide engineering support to management as required.
Manage all aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Promote a strong commitment to our safety culture and high standard of work.
To be considered successful, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in engineering.
Minimum of 5+ years local project management experience on civil projects.
Experience managing contracts and commercial matters.
Experience with a civil contractor, highly regarded.
High level planning and project management skills.
High level verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
Demonstrated experience mentoring and motivating team members.
