Commercial and Project Services - Project Management Office | Management Permanent Full-Time position available (9 day fortnight) Diploma in Project Management or similar-related competency LGO 8 ( $113,644 base salary per annum + superannuation) About the role This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and of a quality standard for the community, along with promoting and supporting the PMO whilst ensuring compliance for each project, in line with the Project Management Framework (PMF) and Townsville City Council governance requirements by working collaboratively across Council to champion our purpose of Growing Townsville and to deliver the Corporate Plan in consultation with the Townsville Community.
About you We are seeking a professional with 5-7 years in Finance, Project Management, or as a Superintendent, specializing in contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
Bring your highly developed leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Proficiency in council products like CES and MS Projects is a plus, along with a solid understanding of Local Government procurement legislation and Workplace Health and Safety.
Your expertise in contractual advice and stakeholder management will be invaluable in navigating project budgets, risk management, and operational challenges.
