About the Opportunity
ICON is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer who has a strong background in the management of offshore engineering design and installation projects. ICON provides a flexible and collaborative team environment where you get to take ownership of the projects you work on, challenge yourself and develop your career. In this role you will:
Lead, motivate and develop project teams and individuals in executing a vast array of offshore oil and gas projects.Support multiple projects across the entire life cycle including tendering, contract, financial and risk management.Report to Business Line Managers on status, progress, and completion of the portfolio of projects on your watch.About You
You come with tertiary qualifications in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Naval Architecture), with at least 10+ years relevant offshore oil and gas experience. The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualities:
Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, performance managing team members/less experienced personnel to support their development.Proven capability of managing medium sized projects up to $10m in value, including tendering, contract negotiations, risk management, budget control and delivering within project schedules.Experience with design and offshore installation of upstream offshore facilities/structures.Comprehensive understanding of design, onshore fabrication, transportation, and installation methods.Demonstrated experience managing new build equipment projects and/or refurbishment of existing assets to meet operational needs.Demonstrated experience in engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.Innovative approach to problem solving/concept development.Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.Proven track record in business development and successful management of customer relationships and networks.Experience with Offshore Drilling Equipment and Operations is desirable.Exciting Benefits!
