Senior Project Manager

Job Description Senior Project Manager CGC Recruitment are partnered with a main contractor who specialise in the construction of marine and civil projects throughout Australia.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong civil background to lead the construction of a $50m bulk earthworks project on a 2:1 FIFO roster.
As the project lead, you will play a key role in the success of the project by conducting technical discussions, long-term planning, budgeting, and finances, and liaising with senior representatives of their client.
Duties Liaise with clients on project matters and construction methodology and plans.Strong financial and commercial knowledge to control budgets.Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.Liaise with the client regarding design, construction, and contract issues.Review tender documents and designs and suggest alternative solutions.Ensure the project is managed in accordance with contractual obligations.Ensure subcontractor insurances and documentation are compliant with contract requirements.Allocate project resources in accordance with project budgets and reconciliations.Proactively provide input in support of maintaining a safe workplace.Manage information and conduct appropriate monitoring and reporting duties.Candidate Criteria Experience working in a similar role for a civils main contractor.Experience delivering large-scale projects involving excavation and bulk earthworks.Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project or Construction Management, or similar.Demonstrable knowledge of costings and cost controls on major construction projects.Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.Excellent written and verbal communication.Hold health, safety, and the environment in high regard.Developed analytical and problem-solving skills while adhering to deadlines.Competent in the use of planning software such as MS Project and Pronto.Full Australian working rights.On Offer Salary banded between $200-250k per annum dependent on candidate experience.Superannuation.2:1 FIFO roster with 41% site uplift.Exposure to technically challenging projects.Opportunities for growth and progression.If you're interested in this opportunity and feel that your experiences match the criteria, please 'click' apply now or email your resume to ******.
