Due to business growth, we are looking for a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to assist in the creation of a PMO and to provide wider project support to our implementation teams.
About the role Reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for developing and managing foundational PMO functions to ensure the steady progress of our project management framework.
You'll have the opportunity to implement financial management and control policies, and build reporting capability across our project portfolio, encouraging continuous improvement in our project delivery.
You will also be a hands-on project manager, jumping in to support project leads on key deliverables.
What you'll need to succeed 5+ years' experience as an IT Project Manager, including working within a PMO.
Exposure to large programs and hands-on project implementation, including vendor and contractor management.Relevant tertiary qualification or certification within IT (e.g.
Prince2, Agile).Strong understanding of the fundamentals of a PMO, especially governance and implementation approaches.Experience working in agile and waterfall.Ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders within the organisation, including executive teams.Experience within aged care or healthcare will be highly beneficial.Capable of working across multiple complex projects simultaneously, with strong financial acumen.Willing to obtain necessary checks – Police Clearance, Influenza record etc.What you'll get in return Our people are integral to achieving our vision of being a leading aged care provider in Australia.
