Senior Project Manager

6 month contract + potential for extension
Day rate around $1000 depending on provided experience
Hybrid working arrangement - WFH/Office
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a crucial organisational change for our client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex, large-scale projects with extensive involvement in stakeholder management from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Define the project's scope, goals, and deliverables
Develop detailed project plans and schedules
Effectively manage the project's budget and resources
Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Ensure the project meets deadlines and quality standards
Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders
Implement change management processes
Requirements:
Proven experience managing large-scale payments technology projects
Must have strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to handle expectations and challenging conversations
Expertise in project management methods (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Excellent communication and people skills
Change management experience is beneficial
PMP or Prince2 certification preferred
Prior experience in the banking industry is beneficial
