About the Company: Austral Construction is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager from a civil background to assist on a pipeline of projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. You will play a key role in the success of our projects by conducting technical discussions, long-term planning, budgeting, and finances, and liaising with the senior representatives of our clients. About the Role: Liaise with clients on project matters and construction methodology and plans. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements. Liaise with clients regarding design, construction, and contract issues. Review tender documents and designs and suggest alternative solutions. Ensure the project is managed in accordance with contractual obligations. Ensure subcontractor insurances and documentation are compliant with contract requirements. Allocate project resources in accordance with project budgets and reconciliations. Proactively provide input in support of maintaining a safe workplace. Manage information and conduct appropriate monitoring and reporting duties. Preferred Skills: Preferably a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar site-based role. Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Project, or Construction Management or similar field. Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications. Detailed understanding of construction methods and roles within a project team. Excellent written and verbal communication and a genuine concern for health, safety, and the environment. Developed analytical and problem-solving skills while adhering to deadlines. Competent in the use of planning software such as MS Project and Pronto.
