We are partnered with a well-known WA company for the recruitment of a new Senior Project Manager.
This role is a 12-month contract position that has become available due to an internal promotion.
You'll be project managing a crucial, high profile Information Management Project as this company rolls out a new information management system. It affects everyone across the business, and you'll have regular interaction with the executive level of the business (CEO/CTO etc).
There are approximately 25 people on this project as it stands - you'll have no direct formal reports, but all 25 will be working with you in some capacity.
The project is currently in execution and the SharePoint environment is partly built. Integration work has started, and migration is about to start with a progressive go-live for each function over the next 8 months.
Beyond that, there is a strong project pipeline, so if you are enjoying the role (we think you will), then there is scope to take on other projects and stay longer term. As said above, the role is available due to a promotion, so you'll have opportunities to build and grow within this business.
To be considered for this role, you'll ideally have:
Senior PM experience (min 5yrs senior deliver experience, prefer 8 -10 yrs) Previous experience taking on projects mid-execution Excellent Stakeholder (Business) engagement and management skills Some technical understanding of Enterprise Platforms (SharePoint / Microsoft) / Infrastructure & Integrations Experience managing dispersed and diverse teams (technical and non-technical) Experience with waterfall delivery Knowledge of Agile You'll be based right in the heart of the Perth CBD, right near the Perth train station, and close to the best coffee shops, restaurants and retail shops.
