This role reports to the Head of Configuration Management and Information Systems (Deputy Project Director - WA)
Project Governance: The Project Governance function for L-AUS and all projects in which L-AUS undertake, includes modification, establishment, and execution of a set of rules, procedures, and policies that determine how projects are managed and overseen. It therefore determines the metrics by which project success is measured. 
Responsibilities Ensuring a set of standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures are created, maintained, and implemented across the program and organisation relevant to the below:  Project Governance: Communication (Governance, Control and Quality)Project Reporting and TrackingAction & Decision RegisterMeeting Cadence & ControlAct as the Book Captain, and Author for Contract Status Report – Contract Status Reporting, for Contract Deliverables, and Supplier Contract Deliverables.Monitor progress, and report upon CDRLs/SDRLs and achievement of Contract Requirements.Prepare, and support Meetings, including but not limited to; Internal and Customer Progress Meetings such as preparation of presentations, organisation of invites, ensure submission of data and minutes of meeting. Conduct of Special Projects, and Ad-Hoc tasks as requested, and required by the Head of Configuration Management and Information Systems (Deputy Project Director – WA), Project Director(s) and the Core Leadership Team (CLT).Provide ownership, reporting and oversight, including progression to closure of the Action & Decision Register within JIRA. Ensure Project Progress is communicated within the Organisation for example, Information Boards, and attending Project Meetings. Provision of reporting as requested and required by the CLT. Support the implementation of standardised Project Metrics, Reporting and Dashboards to provide greater oversight of the entire Program. Liaise with Luerssen Supplier Partners, Internal Customers, and the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA)Identify, develop, and implement improvement opportunities.Provide Administrative support where requested and required.Requirements A tertiary qualification in project management, business systems or a relevant discipline. (E.g. ICT, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture for Real Estate Projects) / HR and / or extensive and demonstrated practical expertise knowledge and industry experience.Experience of working within Defence, specifically Acquisition and, or Shipbuilding.Demonstratable capability and experience in program / or project planning, integration, and communication in a utility industry or similar, with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Demonstrated experience in a project office or project management environment in a relevant project management discipline or area with strong experience in planning and scheduling, project reporting, document control and business analysis.Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software, project management systems and other organisational systems as required.How to Apply To be considered for this role, please click the 'Apply for this job' link and upload your resume and a cover letter explaining why you'd be perfect for this role.
