About the role

Are you a disciplined, articulate, and enthusiastic project manager who loves complex projects? Do you get excited by the prospect of working for a growing not-for-profit, values-driven aged care organisation?

As a Senior Project Manager in a newly formed Business Support Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a major new business initiative focused on transitioning systems and processes into our operational environment. This is a hands-on, high-impact, people-facing role in a fast-paced environment that requires regular travel to regional sites.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple business and system initiatives commissioned as part of the Transition plan.
Plan, design, and manage the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring milestones are achieved and outcomes delivered as planned.
Undertake development and maintenance of project related documentation and reports including project briefs, project management plans, project status reports and risk/issues registers.
Liaise, consult, and communicate at senior management levels. Providing status updates when as required.
Work closely with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation to transition to new business systems solutions, including changes to established processes and procedures.
Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate seamless integration into the SCCQ environment.
Support and guide staff through the transition process, maintaining a focus on our values.

What will you bring to the role?

Minimum of seven years' experience in a similar Senior Project Manager role. Exposure to the aged care, human services, or not-for-profit industry is desirable.
Proven track record of delivering successful projects and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure projects remain on plan.
As a proactive project manager who enjoys getting things done you will possess a strong partnership and relationship focus and flair with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated diverse range of project experience across complex business systems and infrastructure implementation.
You will enjoy following a structured project management methodology (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2, Agile) but will apply common sense to how you manage projects and engage stakeholders.
Commitment to managing change in an understood and accepted way, working closely with non-technical stakeholders.
Above all else, you will have a humble, kind, friendly, and trustworthy personality, with excellent listening skills. The environment is extremely fast-moving, and you will need to be adaptable in your approach to delivering assigned projects. Sometimes, you will need to deliver difficult messages and manage conflict resolution, so strong stakeholder management skills are required.
Willingness to travel within regional sites in Australia, with overnight stays.
