We have built a reputation over 10 years for delivering water storage solutions on a wide range of projects within the commercial, healthcare, retail, industrial, transport & data sectors in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. We are at the forefront of new and innovative product design, and through successful project delivery have built a strong repeat client base.
About the Role
As the Senior Project Manager you will:
• Manage & Coordinate projects from the design to completion, including deliveries to/from site and coordination of installation crews.
• Receive handover of each project from sales team and ensure full ownership is transferred to project team
• Establish initial budget based on input from manufacturing and historical labour costs
• Manage and check budget throughout project lifecycle
• Review project scope of works and ensure alignment with client specification
• Monitor client requests and ensure that delivery dates are qualified and site readiness is confirmed
• Work closely with engineering and production to ensure project budgets are met and any overruns are known in real time
• Spot checks to ensure WHS and quality requirements are met
• Communicate with clients regularly to nurture relationships and resolve conflict if required
• Attend/arrange pre-site start meetings as and when required.
• Update claim register and have up to date information to ensure monthly invoicing budgets are met
• Assist sales team by completing contract reviews, providing advice on any risks, providing feedback on project performance, and helping develop more accurate costing sheets
Skills and Experience
• Degree or Diploma Qualified with at least 10 years project management experience within the design/manufacture/construct space
• Experience using MS Projects, Teamwork Projects, Procore or similar
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time management with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and to maintain high quality work output under pressure.
• Having a can-do attitude, ability to adapt, change, organize and maneuver promptly in a fast paced continually changing work environment.
• Problem solving, being proactive in finding potential problems and develop an awareness of all possible solutions to problems.
• Demonstrated construction experience with a focus on modular site assemblies.
