Verve Partners are working with a leading organisation, with branches across NSW, to secure a new team member for their established team.
Due to an ever-expanding team, they are looking for a Senior Project Manager to be based in Newcastle.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be working closely with the Construction Manager to deliver end-to-end projects across the portfolio of Education, Healthcare, Aged Care, Commercial & Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Contracts Administrators through to Project Engineers.Manage all facets of the project including budget, schedule, procurement, development applications, quality, safety & risk.Deal directly with clients to define project requirements, preparing scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.Liaise with Authorities, Consultants, Engineers, and the community regarding the project.Track and report progress of the project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines.Manage and anticipate changes or variations to the contract.Ensure project milestones are met.Ensure the project is completed to a high quality prior to handover.Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to team members. About You: To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills & experience:
Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or demonstrated equivalent field experience.Knowledge of contract requirements, ideally holding previous roles as a Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager.Diverse project knowledge across Commercial and Government sectors.Ability to lead and develop a team.
