Job Description About Your New Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager who is well-versed in dealing with senior stakeholders and running point with vendors and system integrators.
You will work in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with multiple vendors to deliver business solutions and transformative technology applications.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage project teams across the Transformation and Technology initiatives, to budget and on time.Provide expert advice to stakeholders on technology investments and system selections.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project management plans and resource requirements.Manage procurement processes and resource allocation to ensure fully committed teams are in place for project execution.Lead project investigation, design, and procurement processes.Manage the approval process with business and executive leadership.Develop and manage project delivery schedules, incorporating task dependencies and conducting critical path analyses to ensure milestone achievement.Facilitate the project team to deliver technical solutions, manage organizational change, and measure project outcomes and benefits.Align project delivery with the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) framework, monitoring project progress against objectives and taking corrective actions as needed.Consult regularly with stakeholders and sponsors, ensuring transparency and addressing concerns promptly.Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project outcomes and integrate lessons learned into future projects. About You Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field.Background as a Technology Project Manager – technology or business related degree (Computer Science, Project Management, Accounting, Business etc).Demonstrable experience in a Senior Project Management role, ideally within critical infrastructure such as utilities, construction, telecoms, transport or energy.Expertise in managing external vendors and Systems Integrators.Excellent at building rapport with colleagues at all levels and an understanding of the wider workforce needs in large-scale, enterprise businesses.Expertise in project management methodologies (Prince 2, PMBOK) and systems development life cycles (Waterfall, Agile).Strong experience working with and reporting to senior stakeholders, including C-Level executives.Extensive experience preparing and managing Business Cases for senior stakeholders and securing funding for complex projects.Experience in engaging staff in field technology implementations is highly desirable.Proven track record of delivering Workforce Management / Field Service Management software solutions is highly desirable.Exceptional planning, organizational, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills.
