About The Role As Senior Project Manager, Grid Connections you will be at the forefront of an unprecedented transformation of the energy industry, collaborating closely with new and existing generation developers and Network Service Providers (NSPs) to support them deliver their projects.
In this role you'll look at providing dedicated project management service to a portfolio of projects across connection stages and will proactively work with NSP and proponent in resolving critical issues to accelerate the connection process.
What you will be doing Develop a consistent, structured, and transparent project and portfolio management framework to be used across all projects to ensure that quality, cost, risk, and timelines are met Manage internal resource planning in collaboration with the relevant Engineering Manager, including review task level assessment of activities to ensure project resources are effectively used in delivering the project.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Ability to convey technical issues and project constrains to a non-technical group of stakeholders.
Provide leadership to the project management function within Onboarding and Connections team, including coaching and mentoring junior employees.
What you will bring to the role Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline (project management, engineering, or a related field).
Knowledge of the energy sector, including the generator grid connection process.
A wealth of experience in project, program or portfolio delivery and management within the energy, engineering, construction or telecommunications industry.
Proven track record in managing several projects simultaneously and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
