About the Role: As a Project Manager, you'll harness your knowledge in one of the key domains—digital solutions, organisational change management, or customer experience—to lead, manage, and deliver crucial projects.
You will pioneer the adoption of innovative practices, ensure outstanding governance, and cultivate robust stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities include: Provide subject matter expertise in one of digital solutions, organisational change management or customer experience domains.Lead and manage digital solutions and projects, in order to achieve agreed objectives in a timely and efficient manner.Oversee the preparation of relevant project documentation to a high standard, to ensure appropriate communication of project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Establish agreed plans and schedules for internal and external project activities, to facilitate successful project delivery.Monitor, manage and control project activities in accordance with agreed plans, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken to deliver the project on time and to budget.Establish and support project governance arrangements, to ensure decisions are made at an appropriate level.Identify and evaluate risk and manage through appropriate mitigation strategies, to ensure project success.Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including consultants and contractors, to ensure project success.Prepare and deliver a range of communications to stakeholders, team members and governance bodies, to ensure that others are fully briefed on project objectives, tasks, and progress.Establish change management and benefit realisation strategies with primary stakeholders.Drive internal and external change projects, to improve government service delivery to the public.Prepare project financial plans and forecast budget estimates on the business, and manage the revenue and costs as outlined in the budget.Procure contract resources in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards, to assist in the delivery of project objectives.Assist with the management of vendor engagements and contracts to ensure successful project outcomes.Develop and promote a learning culture with the aim of achieving best practice project delivery through enhancing the capabilities of staff.Contribute to and represent the division as a positive and professional working culture across government and within industry networks.Maintain own professional development and contribute to the professional development of others through mentoring and coaching.Applications will remain current for 12 months.
