As a self-performing contractor, our client offers a dynamic environment with diverse projects to lead and manage.
You will be accountable for: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources allocation.Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and relationships are maintained.Oversee project quality standards, ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and budgets.Monitor project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.Manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the client's satisfaction.The Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil construction, with a focus on subdivision and earthworks projects in Queensland.Proven ability to manage multiple subdivision or earthworks projects concurrently, from planning through to completionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams to achieve project goals.Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement timely solutions.Commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety regulations and practices in the civil construction industry.An attractive salary is on offer for the successful candidate which can be discussed upon the level of experience you're bringing to the project.
