We are currently seeking applications from experienced Senior Project Managers to join our team in Darwin.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Project Manager will have a proven ability to successfully deliver large complex projects.
They are accountable for successfully and competently delivering assigned projects, ensuring the project's objectives are achieved, completed on time and within budget.
Using their commercial expertise and technical knowledge, they manage the complete lifecycle of multiple projects simultaneously prioritising resources across their portfolio.
Senior Project Managers are responsible for customer relationships and account management, ensuring a continued relationship of growth with SAGE and identifying new opportunities.
They manage the sales process and develop project bids that best position SAGE to secure new business.
Key Result Areas : Manage to the scope, commercial and contractual terms of the project to successfully deliver large, complex and high-risk projects. Manage costs to deliver the project within budget constraints, identifying reduced cost methods to deliver project outcomes. Meet the milestones and time constraints of the project, maintaining an up-to-date schedule with milestones, work breakdown structure and tasks. Plan and manage the quality of project deliverables. Manage changes to scope and project outcomes, raising cost variations for approval by the customer. Clearly communicate project objectives, progress and changes to all stakeholders. Manage and promptly resolve project issues. Manage and lead the performance of the project team through fostering teamwork and motivating and coaching team members. Key Requirements : Diploma of Project Management or similar. Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, ideally within automation / electrical engineering. Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Project Management is desirable. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently engage with a broad range of stakeholders and industry sectors.
You will be a strong planner who can manage your own time and that of your team, to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Please note, in order for SAGE to meet the security clearance requirements for our Defence projects, Australian Citizenship is essential for this role.
