Starting salary $166,115 + 15% superannuationBe part of a dynamic and professional project delivery teamWork for a business that supports the local Canberra community2 x Full-time ongoing positionsThe opportunity Icon Water's Infrastructure Delivery team are responsible for the planning and execution of a significant capital works program. They are looking for a motivated and passionate Project Manager to lead a team of professionals who manage the delivery of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects to meet the objectives of the broader Infrastructure Services Group.
As the Project Manager you will lead, motivate and mentor your team to deliver projects on schedule, within budget and to required safety, environmental and quality standards while minimising disruption to services provided to our customers. Some of our major projects include upgrades to our water and sewerage treatment plants, renewing our biggest reservoirs and supply network, developing renewable energy systems and increasing the capacity of our infrastructure to make way for our growing city.
We are looking for someone with leadership capability that can promote a sense of strong team spirit in the workplace and foster the development of project management skills and discipline within their team.
The successful candidate will have: Relevant tertiary qualification in project management or engineeringPrevious involvement in construction or infrastructure projectsExperience in managing projects or a program of worksProject Management qualification or knowledge of project management methodologiesExperience in procurement and contract managementGood written and verbal communication skills including the ability to network and influence a variety of stakeholdersSound knowledge and experience of construction safety managementAbout Icon Water: Icon Water is responsible for owning and operating Canberra's network of water and wastewater infrastructure and assets to ensure the delivery of safe drinking water and reliable sewerage services.
