RoleSummary: The SeniorProject Manager – DER Construction is an exciting opportunityin our Renewable Delivery team based at our Perth CBDoffice. It is a 2year max-term role.
The purposeof the role is to successfully lead small to mid-scale projects inthe safe delivery of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) withinSynergy's Future Energy business unit.
Keyresponsibilities of the role include:
Reporting to the Head ofRenewable Deliverylead the successful implementation phase ofDER projects, such as installation of electric vehicle chargersin regional towns, or batteries and solar energy systems inschools and other future DER Assets. Responsible for themanagement of project controls and commercial services andnecessary Synergy functions to achieve the agreed scope,schedule and cost over the project implementation. Managethe project sub-team as delegated. Build and maintain resources– obtaining a suitable mix of skill sets from withinSynergy and external resources to meet specific projectworkload requirements. Responsible for thesafety of project team employees and project personnel inaccordance with relevant legislation and Synergy's HSEpolicies and procedures. Identifyand mitigate project risks to avoid delays and costover-runs. Whatyou'll bring: ProjectManagement / Business / Engineering / Trade Aminimum of 4 years of experience in project/ contractmanagement, engineering and constructionenvironment. Trackrecord of project management on client side, deliveringprojects with capital expenditure above AUD $5million. A trackrecord of identifying performance improvement opportunities anddelivering performance improvement projects in an assetmanagement utilities business.
