Known as one of the leading firms in the delivery of projects, this is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking, professional and dynamic project management and advisory consultancy. They are looking for an enthusiastic Senior / Project Manager to join their innovative and client focussed team to work on a major Health construction redevelopment project.
A high degree of client and stakeholder liaison will be involved, from feasibility stage to delivery stage of the project. Leadership, communication, and people management skillset will be paramount along with a strong base of technical knowledge.
Experience in Health new build and refurb projects is ideal however not essential. Experience in other complex construction sectors such as Data Centres, Ports, Aviation, Industrial, Manufacturing, Complex Infrastructure etc. would also compliment.
Candidate will ideally have client side project management consultancy experience.
The project is located in Regional NSW. The successful candidate can either live locally to the project or can live in Sydney and the company can arrange for you to travel to site 2 days per week (spending one night away) including flights and a hire car.
Years of experience:
5 to 10 years+
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Client management and consultation Engagement, management and recruitment of teams Project Planning/Feasibility studies Risk Management Value Engineering Design Management and Value Engineering Procurement of construction services Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent Delivery of construction services Commissioning and post contract duties for handover Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or similar 5 - 10 plus years' experience of end-to-end project management on building projects Leadership skills Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous client-side project management experience This is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
