About the Role This full-time opportunity exists for an experienced digital design professional who has the expertise to create visually appealing and user-friendly landing pages and digital assets driving our user experiences.
The focus of this role will be to drive digital design & UX, web updates, campaign support, design for print and digital and front end development a focus on supporting Haircare's activities with other brands in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the eCommerce Manager for the group, responsibilities include:
Create user-centric designs for landing pages, ensuring ease of navigation and optimal customer experience. Collaborate with the ecommerce and marketing teams to implement website updates, including visual design enhancements and frontend changes, while following best practices in UX and design principles. Work closely with the marketing team to design assets for digital campaigns, proactively offering creative suggestions to improve campaign effectiveness and overall design impact. Convert print-based Deal Books into engaging digital formats, ensuring seamless integration with platforms such as ISSUU for added interactivity. Make basic frontend changes including an understanding of how to tweak page structures and design elements. We are seeking someone who has the following skills and experience: 3-5 years of experience as a digital designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating web assets, landing pages, and digital content across various platforms. Proven experience in applying UX/UI principles to web and mobile designs, focusing on user experience, customer journeys, and conversion optimisation. Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS to make simple frontend changes when required. A general understanding of web development processes is beneficial. Experience with designing print materials and converting them into interactive, digital formats using platforms like ISSUU or similar tools. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, or similar digital design and wireframing tools. Well-developed organisation skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work and follow through on set tasks. A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and proactively suggest improvements or alternative solutions to enhance design effectiveness. Curious, innovative and always looking for ways to generate stronger results. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Certification in UX/UI design, digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), or web design is a plus but not essential.
