The Senior Project HSE Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project HSE Manager and Project team to successfully implement the Project WHS Management Plan, and Environmental Plans. Empowering all persons at the Aldoga Solar Farm Project to operate in accordance with the Acciona Energia Global Safety Principles:

This role will initially be based in Acciona's central Brisbane office, and relocate to site near Aldoga once construction commences in 2024. Workplace Health & Safety Familiarise with Workplace Health & Safety Management Plan (WHS MP) to advise effectively.
Develop tools for WHS Management System implementation.
Review contractor safe work systems for compliance and best practices.
Facilitate risk workshops, conduct onsite face-to-face inductions.
Monitor contractor activities, conduct site inspections, and close out action items.
Maintain project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) documentation registers.
Administer management system platforms like Enablon, Risk Wizard, and Rapid.
Support Project Health and Safety Committee (HSC) establishment, participate in meetings.
Support incident investigation, training, and environmental compliance.
Seek improvement opportunities for Acciona's WHS Management System and foster a collaborative team environment.
Environmental: Familiarise with Environmental Permits to advise the Project team.
Keep Environmental Commitments Register updated.
Conduct environmental inspections and ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Competencies 6+ years experience in HSE within high-risk construction.
Diploma in OHS and/or Environment preferred.
Trained in ICAM for incident investigation.
Skilled in developing safety management systems.
Accredited for workplace drug and alcohol testing.
Emergency Warden qualification advantageous.
