Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Project Engineer – Systems who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Perth, Australia.
We have a significant order book for the delivery and ongoing maintenance and improvement of ETCS based signalling systems. In addition, we are bidding on many opportunities within the Australian Rail sector across the entire country encompassing both CBTC and ETCS rail signalling systems and associated infrastructure.
We need people with experience in project engineering/engineering management in rail systems and signalling, along with experience in real-time system engineering, testing and integration activities, software verification and validation best practices and safety critical techniques. Experience in the delivery of projects into a brownfield environment is also required.
