Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.Job DescriptionWe're looking for an SMP Senior Project Engineer to manage the SMP requirements on the Alkimos Desalinisation project.The ProjectThe Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1, the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.The project includes the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical, and bulk earthworks.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the piping subcontractors are working and installing the piping systems as per the approved isometrics, drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.Monitor and control the piping subcontractors to ensure they are performing in accordance with safety and quality control.Check and ensure that the piping subcontractors follow the technical delivery information with the design team, ensuring that the manufacturing drawings are completed and approved on time.Manage the piping installation subcontractors on site to ensure proper pipe installation.Report the pipe installation status on a weekly basis.Assure compliance with the program and cost.Required Skills and CompetenciesGeneral experience in pipe systems installation and pre-spooling.Experience in management of pipe installation subcontractors on site related to GRP, SS, metallic piping, PVC.Ability to manage technical documents and procedures.Good communication skills and ability to transmit and explain technical information.What We OfferAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
