Senior / Project Engineer

The Company: Our client is a national builder well known for delivering large and diverse projects throughout Australia. A very well-known name in the industry with high-level talent throughout the business, our client is looking for the best of the best to join a team delivering an $80m commercial project. Whilst our client has a diverse portfolio, you will be initially joining a team to deliver a new industrial project with a well-resourced team and loyal subcontractor base.
The Role:

Contribute to site meetings and work collaboratively with upper management to ensure project success.
Manage the engineering team, assisting in setting out individual responsibilities, providing developmental assistance and ensuring overall team performance.
Provide leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
Review project documents including estimates, design drawings, proposals, and contracts per management in delivering an $80m commercial development.
Stakeholder and resource management - ensuring relevant labour is on site to deliver key project objectives and ensuring quality is maintained throughout.

Experience/Qualifications Required:

A stable track record of delivering similar-sized projects for a local commercial construction head contractor.
A trade or tertiary qualification in construction.
Strong software skills in programs such as Procore, Jobpac, and MS suites.
Compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
