Come work with us We have an exciting opportunity in the Digital Infrastructure Services Group for a Senior Product Owner (Managed Compute Services)
Reporting into Group Manager Digital Infrastructure Services you will be part of the team, responsible for the design and operations of multiple enterprise infrastructure platforms such as of compute, database, virtual servers, storage, backup and datacentre, with the goal of improving under experience (UX) and productivity across the NSW Health System
The team supports the development and delivery of new/existing products and services in two key streams. Managed Compute Services is on stream delivering Cloud and Hybrid Computer, Storage & Backup, and Datacentre Services. Managed Database Services is the second stream delivering Cloud and Hybrid SQL Database. We have a hybrid way of working, the majority of work is performed remotely with regular interactions over MS Teams and face to face in Chatswood.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the strategic vision of the Managed Compute Services products to deliver agreed outcomes that create a positive impact for customers and maximise the return on investment. The focus is to ensure that products are appropriately managed throughout the product lifecycle and manage product owner resources. You will do this by working with operation leads, product owners, capability managers across the business, and engineers across the organisation.
Health Manager Level 5, commencing salary from $161,042.00 - $180,143.00 per annum plus superannuation 
As an integral member of the Digital Infrastructure Services Group , you will:
Drive the strategic product vision across Managed Compute Services product roadmaps using product management and design thinking methodologies informed by relevant product owners and customer insights to ensure strategic alignment with organisational priorities. Provide subject matter expertise and oversee the operations of complex / larger scale Managed Compute Services product lifecycles using relevant governance frameworks. Management of strategic product backlog for Managed Compute Services products, including creation, refinement, and prioritisation of strategic work items in the backlog. Provide leadership and direction to product owners and effectively manage agreed product outcomes to ensure successful delivery and a performance-based and customer-focused work culture. Manage and coordinate regular reporting to provide assurance to senior leaders pertaining to Managed Compute Services product progress against the strategic roadmap. Partner with the customer and key stakeholders to effectively manage and deliver agreed benefits on Managed Compute Services products for maximum value and a positive impact for the customer and a return on investment. About you We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
Qualification or certification as a product owner with demonstrated experience managing a Cloud/Hybrid Compute product in a large-scale and complex environment. Demonstrated superior expertise and a proven record of achievement managing a large and complex Cloud/Hybrid Compute product lifecycle and leading multidisciplinary teams in a large and complex clinical ICT service environment. Additional information This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months. To be eligible for this role, you must have current Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen with a current passport, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia). Exempt' is defined as a fixed term contract with a length greater than 13 weeks. All NSW Health workers are required to have received 2 doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to show proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status prior to securing this role.
