This Group Product Manager position is responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy, including driving the digital strategy (including omnichannel promotion) & creating and executing brand plans for numerous products. The role will develop key opinion leaders in collaboration with sales managers and contribute to the achievement of revenue for specialty pharma products. You will be involved in the preparation and adjustment of key messaging, promotional and training materials and managing in-license partners (sales & brand plans). You will initiate appropriate market research and develop content/present at advisory board meetings and use sales data dashboards to adjust/confirm/guide strategy; competitive analysis and market reporting. You will maintain an expert level of relevant product and therapeutic knowledge to train medical representatives in relevant products. You will manage an expense budget within parameters and maximise ROI. You will ensure all activities comply with Medicines Australia guidelines, the product label and agreed messaging, legal and ethical standards. Customer Engagement: Drive awareness of the company, brands and therapeutic area education to doctors and other industry stakeholders and build collaboration with internal and external partners to elevate capabilities, customer focus and digital excellence. Product Promotion: Assertively promote products by providing appropriate and compelling educational aids and advertising. Sales Strategy: Drive growth of the business through a concrete understanding of the competitive environment and apply a strategic approach to building an effective business development and marketing plan. Strategic Leadership: Support the development of and execute on marketing strategies to drive sales growth across respective brands, seeking input of team in strategy-building. YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LANDING THIS ROLE
Open to leading, coaching and performance managing direct reports. At least 4 years' hands on marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry and preferably have experience as a sales rep in pharma. Demonstrable business planning skills, analytical and strategic. Able to work independently, flexible and adaptable. Preferably science, health-related or marketing tertiary education qualifications.
