Responsibilities:
Design and launch experiences that inform, empower and delight customers and colleagues.
Be recognised as a master of your craft and mentor others on their design career journey.
Work from strategic to hands-on supporting our Business Everyday Banking domain.
Apply human-centred design (HCD) tools, collaborate with various teams across the enterprise, and deliver NAB's strategic ambition of improving customer and banker experience.
Perform customer research, generate insights, prototype concepts and designs, optimise processes and experiences, ensuring thoughtful and empathetic change delivery.
What you'll bring:
Strong experience as a product designer or UX/UI designer with the ability to independently perform essential capabilities required in this role.
Proven experience using design processes and tools, including Figma and other digital collaboration tools.
Excellent knowledge of design processes, experience design methodologies, and principles with demonstrated experience in Agile.
Collaboration with Product Owners and delivery squads to enhance customer experiences.
Experience within finance or service industries.
Your Skills and Experience:
Mindset: Solid grasp of human-centred design (HCD) and a growth mindset focused on personal and organisational growth.
Research, User Testing, and Benchmarking: Conduct desktop research, plan and conduct interviews and testing, and translate insights into design solutions with strong rationale.
Storyboards, Userflows and Prototyping: Competent in scenario planning, creating storyboards, userflows, and various prototyping methods.
Design System, Digital Layout, and Accessibility: Experience with design systems, digital layouts, and applying accessibility guidelines for inclusive design.
Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
