The Role & The Team You will exhibit strong leadership and stakeholder management skills and have a track record leading procurement processes and commercial negotiations that achieve business goals and support effective service delivery in the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle.
You will oversee and carry out procurement operations that adhere to established policies and processes to facilitate the execution of procurement projects that yield results that are cost-effective. Support the business in managing high-risk, high-value contracts leveraging subject matter expertise to influence performance management, financial management, transition in and out, risk management, and supplier due diligence initiatives.
Take the lead on procurement activities, conduct commercial negotiations, and deliver recommendations that achieve service and budget outcomes while engaging with internal stakeholders to deliver short, medium, and long-term strategic objectives, and contribute to the development and achievement of the Airservices' strategy.
You will represent the organisation in critical negotiations, achieving effective solutions and outcomes in challenging relationships, and ambiguous and conflicting positions.
Please see the link below to view the full Position Description: Your experience and education are reflective of the following: Tertiary qualification in a Business, Commerce or related discipline (Desirable).Proven ability to source, interpret and present information from within an organisation, across industries and from different markets.Proven ability to interpret and apply complex organisational frameworks and policies.Proven ability to facilitate procurement processes and deliver sound commercial support.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, assess expenditure trends and analyse lifecycle costs.Advanced influencing, communication and negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.Able to demonstrate a passion for delivering commercially astute outcomes.Excellent customer service skills, good verbal and written communication skills, with a motivated and enthusiastic attitude to problem-solving.At Airservices Australia, we embrace and thrive on diversity of thought, perspectives, and capabilities because we know the benefits of having a workforce that is representative of the community that we serve.
