We are seeking highly motivated Senior Procurement Officers to join the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH).
We currently have one permanent full-time position available for immediate filling and all suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made for similar vacancies for a period of 12 months.
About the role As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will ensure procurement and contracting practises within DPLH comply with relevant Government, public sector and agency policies and procedures, whilst providing high quality advice and support across the agency.
The core functions of the role include: Developing medium to high-risk contracts, including procurement planning, tender and evaluation documentation.Working with business areas to assist them in managing the agency's medium to high-risk contracts, including ongoing monitoring of performance and financials and executing of variations, extensions and other contractual mechanisms.Conducting business planning to identify and progress towards new contract opportunities for business areas and DPLH.Providing specialist advice and maintaining internal and external relationships.If you would like to know more about the role(s), please contact Chief Procurement Officer, Sheridan Baldoni on (08) 6551 9606.
