What You'll Be Doing
As the Senior Procurement Officer, you will support the procurement and contract strategy, ensuring best practice processes and standards are delivered and embedded across the organisation.
You Will
Promote a culture of ethical conduct, accountability, and compliance with Coal LSLs obligations as a Corporate Commonwealth entity. Collaborate with key stakeholders and the wider organisation to embed a culture of best-practice procurement and contract management. Provide procurement and contractual advice and support through the tender/quotation preparation, evaluation, negotiation, contract award and delivery phases ensuring principles of risk management, governance and compliance are considered in advice and guidance provided. Maintain appropriate systems for procurement and contract management that enable effective contractual reporting and monitoring. This is a permanent role based in Newcastle.
