Here's what we're looking for: Demonstrated experience in contract and category management services related to the procurement of large/complex agreements/standing offer arrangements.Demonstrated strong customer focus, with the ability to take an agile approach to problem solving and process improvement and are comfortable working across boundaries and engaging senior executives in your delivery.Demonstrated effective communication skills by actively listening, being responsive, and have built trust with your customers by delivering what you commit to.Demonstrated skills in being proactive, highly organised and able to work largely autonomously. This also includes knowing when to escalate and engage to appropriately manage risk.Demonstrated understanding of how key policies, practices, and procedures operate in a procurement environment and can apply the Queensland Procurement Policy in your everyday work activities.As part of this role, you will: Facilitate and participate in cross-agency working groups, accountable for the delivery of category plans.Plan and deliver key industry and customer forums and workshops.Develop contract management plans and manage supplier contractual performance, including novation's, contract variations, and performance against KPI's.Ensure buyers guides and other category related content is up to date, accurate, and user-friendly.Manage daily communications and resolve customer and supplier issues.Use Excel, Power BI, and other systems to collate and analyse data, informing sound decision-making.Contribute to key sourcing initiatives in the sub-category, including the development of tendering documents, pre-tendering industry engagement, evaluation, and implementation.Join our team and be part of our legacy.
