Reporting into our QLD State Manager our Branch Manager will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, support the growth of GT Insurance's network, identify new business opportunities, enhance, and grow existing relationships and foster a collaborative environment conducive to mutual success.
Responsibilities:
Develop, build, and maintain sustainable relationships across all broker and customer segments to achieve targets through the execution of established strategies and business model frameworks. Support the State Manager in executing go-to-market strategy, including aligning to business plans to deliver effective and efficient sales operations to achieve profitable growth targets within specialist business areas aligned to GT's product offerings. Ensuring your sales performance meets business targets, identifying opportunities to outperform, ensuring profitability and territory and branch meets key benchmarks. Identify market and industry trends, understanding and anticipating customer needs through business relationships and competitor analysis. Support the State Manager with GWP production and plan achievement, across your territory with a continued focus to recommend and implement identified improvement measures. Collaborate and foster positive working relationships with all GT Insurance business units to ensure positive outcomes for our customers. Skills & Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification or the equivalent business experience. Experience as a Senior Sales Professional, in a contemporary insurance/ financial business. Strategic sales ability including effective business planning, negotiation skills and ability to influence and persuade. Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance branch and business profitability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence. Proven capability to analyse and evaluate information and make improvement to process, operations, or practices that improve business performance. Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
