Join Sunwater as our Senior Procurement Advisor (Major Projects) on a 24 month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension). You will report to the Principal Procurement Advisor Infrastructure and you will support the Infrastructure, Development & Delivery (IDD) business unit in delivering fundamental infrastructure procurement activities such as:
Developing market engagement strategies, preparing RFx procurement documentation, facilitating contract and scope development, undertaking evaluations, and preparing recommendation documentation to facilitate contract awardsNegotiating directly with key internal and external stakeholders during the procurement process to achieve the best value for money outcomesDelivering value-adding procurement opportunities to Sunwater through market research and high-level analysisWe are seeking a talented and proactive individual with demonstrated technical skills in end-to-end procurement and at least +5 years' experience in a similar role (infrastructure sector highly desirable). You will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, law, finance, business (or equivalent experience) and be confident in leading pre-contract sourcing activities, contract formation, establishment of panel arrangements/management and data analytics. Experience working with a Government Owned Corporations (GOC)/ Queensland Government and infrastructure environments will be highly desirable. In addition, you will have:
Excellent Communication Skills – strong business writing skills, high attention to detail and interpersonal skills.Collaborative - able to build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work both autonomously and in team environments to scope, develop and deliver defined projects of work across the entire procurement and contract management lifecycle.Influential – ability to lead, coach and develop stakeholder and team capability through partnering on market sounding activities and procurement processes.This role offers a base salary starting from $141,112.92, 12.75% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading and a genuine emphasis on work/life balance, ensuring you are well-rewarded for your dedication and hard work.
