As Senior Procurement Advisor you will support the Contracts and Procurement Manager to manage specific product or service categories within Stanmore in accordance with the strategic category plans. This position will ideally be based at one of our Site locations (Poitrel, South Walker Creek or Isaac Plains).
This is a diverse, fast paced role, where you will be responsible for: Procurement & Category Strategy - providing fact-based analysis for development of Procurement & Category strategies, ensuring targets and quality standards are met and providing reports on spend/performance, etc Sourcing and Relationship Management - develop prioritised sourcing documentation & activities for RFx/Negotiations in alignment to the C&PM Strategic plan, perform market analysis, negotiation and execution of contracts with new and existing suppliers, maintain effective relationships and collaboration with the functional business units including contract owners and stakeholders, provide sound commercial advice to internal stakeholders in line with category strategies, procurement policies and processes, research suppliers to ensure they meet company specifications and evaluate and negotiate vendor offers in accordance with Stanmore procurement agreements, etc. Contract Performance Management - implement new contract performance management protocols in new contracts and consolidate CPM data and benchmark supplier KPI's Contracts and Pricing Administration - Effectively manage with site stakeholders any queries with respect to procurement contracts. Proactively manage contract expiry dates and initiate expiry notification with Category Manager and/or Business Unit to ensure contracts are renewed, terminated or tendered prior to automatic renewal or expiry date. About You You will be an excellent communicator who is driven, able to work independently and flexible to work across a diverse range of commodities. In addition, to be a success you will need:
Min 5 years in a commercial/ Supply environment, Mining & Metals preferred Minimum Diploma in Business, Commerce, Finance, Engineering or related disciplines Strong experience in developing commercial strategies and leading high value strategic negotiations, strong understanding mining categories and ERP systems.
