This is an exciting career opportunity to shape processes that will drive our success and support our ambitious goals. Our Minerals & Metals division is growing at a rapid rate and as the Senior Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our team's engineering capabilities.
You will work closely with passionate and likeminded Engineers and key stakeholders both internally and externally to accelerate their understanding of process optimisation, design, and implementation. Your expertise will help us scale effectively while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Let's talk about you Your previous experience in a similar position, coupled with tertiary qualifications in either Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or similar will be key to your foundations in this role. Your previous experience in the mineral processing industry with practical experience working in other engineering companies or working on EPCM projects or studies on the owners' side will ensure your ongoing success.
You will be able to adjust quickly to change, be agile to adapt to new requirements and be innovative, with a solution-driven mindset.
Your experience in mill, concentrator and/or metallurgical plant design – particularly for base and precious metals alongside your operational site-based experience where you have focused on operational performance, sustainability and process improvements will also be key.
A day in the life of As the Senior Process Engineer, you will focus on ensuring process engineering design is consistent with study and project scope & objectives. You will focus on trade-off studies right through to construction and commissioning where you will gain a broad range of experience on several high-profile industry projects.
You will be an integral member of our collaborative and supportive team with whom you will share engineering knowledge and capability as we serve our clients across a broad range of commodities.
