Senior Principal Accountant

About the Role:
As a Senior Principal Accountant, you will look to collaborate with the corporate finance team as well as engage with a variety of stakeholders across the business. This is an essential role for ensuring the correct allocation of funds from grants and external sources into the finance system. Your duties will include:
Identifying pertinent financial clauses in legal award letters Providing strategic financial support on grant reporting and research accounting Keeping Contracts, Projects, and Awards up to date in the organization's finance system Performing internal audits of all related financial transactions for external reporting Assisting in the organization's annual financial statements Building and maintaining strong working relationships Assisting with ad hoc tasks as required About You: CPA or CA qualification Substantial experience in performing account reconciliations Experience and knowledge of the audit process Experience with complex contractual financial requirements and documenting them Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Commerce Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills 18 months of experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory For further information, please call Luke Traynor on or email .
