Job Title: Senior Power Systems EngineerLocation: Perth, WAAre you an experienced Power Systems Engineer skilled in power systems analysis and familiar with a range of industry-standard software? We are looking for a Senior Power Systems Engineer with deep technical expertise and a passion for mentoring junior engineers to join our team. In this role, you'll work on impactful projects, contributing to power systems analysis, design, and optimization while guiding the development of emerging engineers.Key Responsibilities:Power Systems Analysis & Design: Perform advanced analysis and modeling of power systems, including load flow, short-circuit studies, transient stability, and protection coordination.Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency with key industry power systems software, including DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, PSCAD, SKM PTW, CDEGS, CYMCAP, Cableizer, and other relevant tools to deliver accurate, high-quality results.Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive power systems solutions, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.Mentorship & Training: Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical training to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team environment.Project Management Support: Work closely with project managers to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful and timely project completion.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project goals, communicate solutions, and address any technical requirements.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and design specifications to ensure accuracy and clarity for stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on the latest industry advancements in power systems engineering, and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and standards.Key Requirements:Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a focus on power systems.Experience: Minimum of (8-10) years in power systems engineering, with a proven track record in power systems studies, analysis, and design.Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and familiarity with other key industry tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, SKM PTW, CDEGS, CYMCAP, Cableizer, etc.Mentorship Experience: Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and support junior engineers in their technical and professional growth.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for client interaction, documentation, and team collaboration.Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for addressing complex power systems challenges.Please email ******
