As the Senior Power Platform Developer, you will undertake application troubleshooting and provide support for enterprise business applications built on the Power Platform. You'll collaborate with Power Platform Administrators and Developers to create reusable components, develop small-scale applications, and ensure seamless communication regarding release scheduling through Azure DevOps Pipelines. Your proactive engagement with business and technology teams will be critical in recommending innovative solutions and enhancing business processes. By contributing to the Power Community of Practice, you'll drive a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing among developers across the department, making a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Your key responsibilities: Undertake application troubleshooting and provide support and issue resolution related to approved enterprise business applications and components built upon the Power Platform.Collaborate with Power Platform Administrators and Developers across the department to identify, document and implement re-usable Power Platform components.Undertake development of small-scale applications/automations leveraging Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages.Participate in the engagement with business and technology teams on release scheduling and communication of application releases through Azure DevOps Pipelines within defined change controls and maintain accurate documentation of solutions and release changes.Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes. Contribute to the Power Community of Practice forum to drive a Centre of Excellence, encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing for Power Platform developers across the department.Technical skills, abilities, and cultural capability: Demonstrated recent industry experience in successfully developing and supporting Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Portals/Pages solutions in a large complex environment.Strong understanding of Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate.Knowledge of DevOps delivery practices.Knowledge of Azure DevOps Git Repositories and Azure Pipeline deployments.Knowledge of testing best practices and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure services and solution design.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
