Economic, Environment and Infrastructure Policy Division (EEIPD) Location: Adelaide, CBD Salary Range: $97,022 - $102,626 Classification: ASO600 Duration: Up to 12 months. Closing Date: 01 May 2024 Role Highlights Provide strategic policy advice from a whole of Government perspective Support well-researched submissions, briefs and notes on complex policy issues Challenging and rewarding career working at the centre of Government in SA Role Details The Senior Policy Officer is responsible for supporting and developing policy analysis and advice on strategic cross-government initiatives and issues of interest to the Premier and Cabinet . Special Conditions The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some work outside of normal hours will be required. Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required. People in these roles will be expected to move around DPC over time to broaden their experience. Applications from those wishing to work less than full-time hours will be considered, subject to the timeframe associated with servicing Cabinet meetings and/or other key DPC priorities. May be required to participate in the State Crisis Centre during exercises and incidents, and may be required to obtain a National Security Clearance to the level of Secret. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalentsignificant work experience.
